Ninestone

Software for local councils

Take bookings, keep registers, lose the spreadsheet.

Ninestone builds modern, accessible software for the everyday systems councils run on: facility and appointment bookings, statutory registers, waiting lists and the records behind them. UK hosted, WCAG 2.2 AA, and priced so an officer can buy through the quotes process rather than a tender.

What we do

One focused product area, done properly: the booking and register systems that officers and clerks use every day. Most are still run from spreadsheets, or from software whose supplier stopped caring years ago.

Bookings and appointments

Facilities, sports pitches, appointments and events. Residents book online; you see one calendar, one list, one audit trail. Payments and reminders included.

Registers and waiting lists

Allotments, cemeteries, licensing and the registers behind statutory services. Built for the way UK councils actually keep records, and for the accessibility rules that apply to them.

Free data migration

We move your existing spreadsheet or legacy system into Ninestone at no cost, however messy it is. Fear of the changeover shouldn't be the reason you keep the old one.

Who you're dealing with

Saul, founder of Ninestone

Ninestone is built and run by Saul, a software engineer based in Cambridge. When you email, it's Saul who replies, usually the same day. And when something needs fixing, the person fixing it is the person who built it.

We're a new company. We'd rather tell you that ourselves than have you find it out on Companies House. In practice it means there's no legacy platform to prop up, no acquisition on the horizon, and the software gets shaped directly by the first councils that use it.

Get in touch or find Saul on LinkedIn.

Founding councils. The first three councils to work with Ninestone get free setup, free data migration and founding-partner pricing held for five years. In return, we ask for candid feedback while we build around your workflow.
